December Storm 2010

Yesterday we were hit with about 15 inches of snow. I tried to go get the kids on Saturday morning around 9, but 2 minutes from home my 4 wheel drive went out. My trail blazer does not handle well in snow in 2 wheel drive. I would take the yukon which plows through the snow like a monster truck, but there isn't heat... I can suck it up but with it being 4 degrees my poor kids can't suffer.

Since the kids had to stay at my parent another day and night, I actually laid around ALL day, took a nap AND helped shovel the driveway with Mike. I'm very thankful it wasn't heavy snow since the end and middle of the driveway were about 3 1/2 feet deep and the front door was about 3 feet deep. It took us about an hour or so to do it, and man does my back hurt!!

We can make a pretty sweet tunnel along the driveway now!
