Thanks Elijah

Last month we get a letter home saying there was a case of lice in Nevaeh's class. So cleaver me asks Nevaeh if anyone went home early today. She said "Elijah. The nurse sent him home today." Answered my question!

Yesterday we get a letter from the county saying there is a lab confirmed case of pertussis (whooping cough), and we should consult our physicians about treatments for being exposed. I checked the kid's shots records and Kayhlen and Barrett have had the Ddap vaccine in the past year. Nevaeh didn't have it since 2004. The pediatrician called in a prescription for Nevaeh for Zithromax just to make sure she does not get it. BUT if we see any signs in ANY of us we need to get tested for whooping cough.... and it anyone tests positive, we all need to be treated! UGH!

I do feel bad for Elijah's family... they have a new born (month or two old)!

  1. Our doc recommended everyone who came in contact with Lily get their TDAP shot. He said grown folks need to get it every 10 years. I made mom and dad get it before they came to visit. Hope Nevaeh stays fine!
