Nevaeh had books in the barn (http://www.pawsitivestepsllc.com/links.html) today, she goes to it once a month to practice reading and other fun projects/activities. Nevaeh of course has to look the part so she dresses in cowgirl boots and hat. Today they made horses out of clay, did barrel racing on stick horses, put poor Rusty's hair in braids and ponytails and read the horse book Dash.While barrel racing, Nevaeh was telling her horse "Getty up" and "go faster".... then she stopped, walked back a couple yards and starred at the ground. I ask Lisa is she had a special ed class for kids that get distracted by shiny things. Turns out it was a dead mouse. We pay extra for the attractions!
